Stewardship isn’t a slogan. It’s a standard.
When you invite a contractor into your home, you’re trusting them with more than materials and labor. You’re trusting them with your space, your budget, your time, and your peace of mind.
The Steward’s Promise defines how we handle that responsibility.
What is the Steward’s Promise?
-
1. We build it right the first time.
We stand behind our workmanship with a lifetime workmanship guarantee.
If something we installed fails due to workmanship, we fix it.
- No deflection.
- No finger-pointing.
- No disappearing after final payment.Remodeling should improve your home, not create future problems.
-
2. We coordinate manufacturer issues on your behalf.
If a material we ordered for your project turns out to be defective, we don’t leave you chasing vendors.
We:
- Help coordinate manufacturer claims
- Assist with replacement logistics
- Manage repair scheduling
You shouldn’t have to fight through supply chains alone.
-
3. We proactively check in after one year.
Most contractors disappear after the final walkthrough.
We don’t.
We schedule a proactive one-year check-in to:
- Review how everything is performing
- Address minor adjustments
- Confirm long-term functionality
Because remodeling isn’t finished when we leave, it’s finished when it performs well over time.
-
4. We protect your home during the process.
Stewardship also applies during construction.
We commit to:
- Dust containment
- Jobsite organization
- Clear access paths
- Respectful trade coordination
- Communication that keeps you informed
A remodel should not feel chaotic or careless.
-
5. We handle change orders fairly.
If something falls within the agreed scope, it’s covered.
If it’s something we reasonably should have anticipated during planning, we handle it at cost without additional markup.
If you decide to expand scope or upgrade materials, we re-bid clearly and obtain written approval before proceeding.
No surprises. No vague add-ons.
-
6. We remain accountable.
We are:
- Licensed under Arizona’s B-3 Residential General Contractor classification
- Insured
- Bonded
When permits are required, we handle them.
When inspections are needed, we schedule them.
When something needs clarification, we address it directly.
Why this promise matters.
You should not have to wonder:
“Will they answer if something goes wrong?”
“Will they stand behind their work?”
“Will they disappear once they’re paid?”
The Steward’s Promise exists so you don’t have to.
A disciplined process that protects your home, your budget, and your peace of mind.
-
We start with an in-home consult to understand your goals, take measurements, talk rough numbers, and most importantly, discover whether we are a great fit for the project.
P.S. even if we are not a great fit, we likely know someone who is, and would be happy to refer you. -
We turn your ideas into a build-ready plan. We confirm material selections (with our team or alongside your interior designer), then map the planning and permit path needed to move forward.
Next, we build a highly transparent, line-item scope and a guaranteed-max proposal for the defined scope. We walk you through it so you know exactly what’s included, what it costs, and what comes next.
-
After signing the proposal, before we start construction, we collect the initial deposit, set the calendar in stone, and get materials on hand.
-
We protect the home, manage subs and inspections, do milestone reviews, provide daily updates, give you a client portal where you can track everything, and use written change orders only.
P.S. if change orders are related to anything that we missed in our initial scope, that’s billed at-cost to you. If it truly involves new scope, we will go through the estimating process again. -
We like to finish strong. To close out the project we complete an internal punch list, client punch list, deep clean with pro cleaners, final walkthrough, then your final invoice. To cap this all off, we also complete a one-year check-in with The Steward’s Promise.
